DIN Number Registration
Get Your DIN Issued with Legal Ease by Consult Your Counsel
Any person intending to become a director of a company in India must first obtain a Director Identification Number (DIN) under the Companies Act, 2013. This unique 8-digit number is issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and is mandatory for company incorporation or joining as a director in an existing company.
At Consult Your Counsel, we help you get your DIN registered quickly, legally, and without confusion.
What is DIN?

- DIN helps the government track the director’s involvement across companies.
Who Needs a DIN?
- Individuals who wish to become directors in Indian companies (Private Ltd, OPC, Public Ltd)
- Existing Designated Partners (DPIN holders) in LLPs can use the same number as DIN
- DIN is not required for shareholders of a company
